Barbadian singer Rihanna becomes the richest woman in the music world as per Forbes magazine. The popstar has an estimated worth of $1.7 billion which makes her the richest female musician in the world. The major contribution to her wealth is her brand, Fenty Beauty which was launched in 2017.
“The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%. Much of the rest lies in her stake in her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million, and her earnings from her career as a chart-topping musician and actress,” reports Forbes.
While the R&B songstress has not produced an album since 2016, she remains one of the most renowned and loved singers across the globe and enjoys a social media fan following of billions.
