Indian actor Richa Chadha is currently living the best phase of her personal life and professional career. The 35-year-old diva recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Ali Fazal and now she is all prepared to mark her presence in the global film industry. The actress confirmed signing an international film project in a lead role to be helmed by a British director.
While her husband, Ali Fazal, has worked in noted Hollywood projects like Victoria And Abdul and Death On The Nile, Richa Chadha has already worked in American filmmaker David Womark’s Love Sonia but the project was directed by the Indian director, Tabrez Nooran. The actress is now making her official debut in the international film industry which is currently in the conceptual stage.
Sharing some details about the anticipated project with IANS, Richa said, “It is too early to reveal anything, but yes, I have read the script and I have decided to go ahead with it. The story is interesting and I really liked my character. It is nice to see crucial roles written for Indian actors in major international productions.”
The title of the project and the rest of the crew is currently being kept under wraps but we might expect an announcement soon. On the other hand, Richa will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s passion project, Heera Mandi. She is also working on her maiden project helmed by Shuchi Talati – Girls Will Be Girls.
