On June 14, a promising Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode by allegedly killing himself at his Bandra residence. Even after two and a half month, the Central Bureau of Investigation, in addition to the Mumbai and Patna police, is probing the case with multiple angles. However, they haven’t found any evidence to support the late actor being murdered so far.
While the CBI and NCB are currently investigating the case, prime suspect Rhea Chakraborty has been under humongous pressure and faced brutal defamation from media as well as the netizens. While the actress recently put forward her end of the story in an interview, the reports suggest that she would file a defamation case against the family of Sushant Singh Rajput for bluntly ruining her name and image in public. The actress has threatened that she would be taking necessary legal action against the family of the late actor for making false accusations against her.
For the uninitiated, father of Sushant Singh Rajput, KK Singh, lodged an FIR against the actress for abetment to suicide and money fraud. However, after interrogation with Rhea Chakraborty, the Enforcement Directorate has given her a clean chit after looking into the financial aspects of the case. Meanwhile, NCB is probing the alleged drug angle that recently surfaced.
