It was earlier informed that some staff members including a security guard of veteran actress Rekha had tested positive for the Coronavirus. The latest update has it that the actress refused to corporate with BMC officials to sanitize her bungalow and get her tested for the viral disease.
In response to the positive tests of some of Rekha’s staff members, the affected were shifted to BMC’s COVID-19 facility for isolation and treatment while the actress’ bungalow was sealed and declared a containment zone by the officials. However, when BMC sent a sanitization team to her residence, they were not allowed to enter or sanitize the bungalow. The report also suggested that Rekha refused to get tested for COVID-19.
If reports are to be believed, Rekha’s manager Farhana was in touch with the BMC officials for the precautionary and testing measures. However, when she was contacted to get the actress tested for COVID-19, Farhana informed that Rekha is doing fine and doesn’t want to get tested for COVID-19. Another report also informed similar scenario and it claimed that Rekha had opted to get tested by herself and submit the report to the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, her staff members are put under quarantine and those who tested positive for the deadly virus are being treated as per the standard medical protocol.
