Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has a huge lineup of upcoming movies in her kitty and she has completed filming of many but due to the pandemic crisis, the makers have been postponing the release dates. While her upcoming sports drama, Rashmi Rocket, is one of the most anticipated projects featuring her, the latest update around it suggests that the makers are looking for a digital release.

According to a source close to the development of the project, the makers have decided to release the movie directly on the digital platform while skipping the traditional theatrical release. The makers are reportedly in talks with a number of OTT platforms and Netflix is currently the top contender to buy the streaming rights. An announcement is expected soon from the cast and crew once the deal is signed on paper.

Earlier, the makers of the mystery thriller, Dillruba, featuring Taapsee Pannu announced the direct-digital release of the movie which will stream exclusively on Netflix from 2nd July. The movie also features Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in key roles.

Talking about Rashmi Rocket, the Akarsh Khurana directorial features Taapsee Pannu and Priyanshu Painyuli in the key roles alongside Vicky Kadian and Vaibhav Vishant.
