The much talked and anticipated movie of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ co produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, unveiled its first promotional dance number ‘Aankh Marey’ featuring sizzling Sara Ali Khan and new hot cop in the town Ranveer Singh.

‘Aankh Marey’ track crooned by Mika Singh and Neha kakkar in their peppy voices, is the recreation of 90’s hit chart buster with the same title from the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ released in 1996. The song was originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

After the fiery massy trailer of the movie, closer to the release, the makers of Simmba have released today the song video wherein the chemistry of debutant Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer singh is totally on fire.

The track is not just another old wine in a new bottle, but has turned out to be an exceptional remake with the appearance of  Rohit Shetty’s superhit franchise ‘Golmaal’s’ cast Arshad Warsi, Tushaar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu twisting their legs in the song with their signature Golmaal step.

Coincidentally, Arshad was the lead in the movie on whose song the current ‘Aankh Maare’ rehash has been made which was also released on the same day as the song today.  The remake  also marks 22 years of this block buster song ‘Aankh Marey’ and the Bollywood journey of the actor who made his debut with the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne in 1996.

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ is an action romantic comedy presenting Ranveer Singh as a Corrupt cop with a heart and the vivacious Sara Ali khan playing his love interest.

Sara Ali Khan who is making her debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s  ‘Kedarnath’ along side Sushant Singh Rajput on December 7th,’ ‘Simmba’ is her second big banner movie  to hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
