Ever since the news came in that Andaz Apna Apna sequel is on the cards, rumours have been doing rounds over the internet. While there are many speculations that Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have been approached to play the leads in the sequel of the cult comedy, other rumours suggested that the movie is expected to go on floors by next year. However, the latest report has something else to say.
As per the exclusive report published by PinkVilla, neither Ranveer Singh nor Ranbir Kapoor has been approached for the speculated sequel and in fact, the actors are not even aware of the fact that the project is doing rounds over the internet. The report also informed that there has been nothing concrete about the second instalment to the Andaz Apna Apna franchise and it is unlikely that the movie will go on the floors anytime soon.
While we will have to wait some more time to get the two superstars on the same screen, both Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have earlier expressed their interest in working together if they find the script worth collaborating.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with Karan Johar’s magnum opus trilogy, Brahmastra, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Amitabh Bachchan in the prominent characters. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Kabir Khan’s sports drama, ’83, co-starring Deepika Padukone.
