The superhit on-screen couple, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, are reuniting post their success in the musical drama, Gully Boy, for filmmaker Karan Johar. The duo was announced as the lead for the romantic story, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and the project went on the floors recently.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt took to their social media handles to share their video from the sets of the movie as they begin filming the same. The video features some behind-the-scenes of the shooting as well as revealed the new looks of the stars for the movie. Along with Ranveer and Alia, the movie will also feature veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the key roles.
Sharing the short clip, Ranveer wrote, “Shuru ho gayi hai yeh anokhi kahani of Rocky & Rani. Toh dijiye humein apna aashirvaad aur pyaar, aur chaliye iss safar mein hamaare saath! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani (The unique story of Rocky and Rani has begun. So give us your love and blessings and join us in this journey).”
With Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar is returning to his director’s chair after long and will be helming the unique love story while details of the same is kept under wraps for now.
