The highly anticipated film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna, has been generating buzz since its announcement due to its unique casting. Recent rumours suggested a possible postponement to avoid a clash with Gadar 2, featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. However, the latest update confirms that Animal‘s release date in August remains unchanged.

Addressing the speculation, reports assert that Animal will indeed hit the screens on August 11 as scheduled. The film marks Ranbir Kapoor’s first collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the renowned filmmaker behind the blockbuster Kabir Singh. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Animal is poised to be an action-packed thriller set amidst gangster wars, showcasing Ranbir in an unprecedented and gripping role.

Meanwhile, Gadar 2 has also been making headlines for its return to the captivating tale of Tara Singh and Sakeena. The film brings back the original star cast, with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprising their iconic roles, along with Utkarsh Sharma returning as their son, Jeete. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 continues the story after a significant time leap.

Animal is a joint production by T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures. Scheduled for release on August 11, the film will be presented in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, promising a wider reach and a thrilling cinematic experience for fans.
