Actor Ranbir Kapoor has finally opened the box about their relationship in an interview with film critic Rajeev Masand which got viral on the Internet. In that interview, the actor is seen calling Alia Bhatt his girlfriend and talking about his marriage. He also said, “It would have already been sealed if the pandemic hadn’t hit our lives. But I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal soon in my life.”

The couple started seeing each other while working on their next project Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film. They were also living together during the lockdown as Alia has purchased a property in the same apartment as Ranbir’s.

In the interview with Rajeev Masand, he also mentioned his girlfriend (Alia) is an over-achiever. “You know, my girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever and she took every class there is from guitar to screenwriting, I always feel like an underachiever next to her,” he added.

In future, the couple will be seen together along with Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in the upcoming trilogy, Brahmastra.
