Bollywood’s most trending couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been dating each other for a while now and the rumours of their wedding have been around the town for months. Finally, the two got hitched on April 14 and with closed knitted wedding ceremonies. The baaraat started from Krishna Raj bungalow and went to Ranbir’s ancestral home, Vaastu, following a Ganesh Puja and Haldi ceremony.
While the power couple and their families kept mum about the wedding even till the last day, it was no surprise. The details of their keenly anticipated wedding were out and Alia Bhatt finally announced her wedding with beau Ranbir Kapoor on social media with photos of their wedding. Sharing the first photos from the much-eyed ceremony, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor sealed the wedding with a kiss.
Twinning in ivory and beige co-ordinated traditional ensembles, Alia Bhatt wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
