Akshay Kumar is the busiest of the actors who has been shooting back to back movies for years now. The actor, who was the first to film a complete movie amid the pandemic, has recently wrapped up the shooting of Atrangi Re co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, and began working on his next. Akshay started filming Ram Setu on Tuesday.
Taking to his social media handle to announce the filming of the Abhishek Sharma directorial, the Kesari actor wrote, “The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Akshay Kumar also shared his new look for the movie in which he plays the character of an archaeologist. Along with Akshay Kumar, the movie also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in key roles. Co-produced by the streaming giant, Amazon Prime Video, the film is an action-adventure drama that brings forward a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage.
