Tollywood superstar Ram Charan has gone under self-isolation amid the filming of his next, Acharya, with Chiranjeevi. The actor is reportedly shaken by the unfortunate demise of his personal vanity van driver due to COVID-19 and he has gone under quarantine to curb the spread of the virus.
Ram Charan was in Hyderabad as he was filming Acharya when he learnt about the demise of his driver and he was quick to call off the shooting. He has self-isolated himself and has advised people who got in contact to get themselves tested and avoid public gatherings. While the Coronavirus pandemic is near its peak in the country, it is not the first incident that tracks back to the team of Acharya.
Ram Charan’s uncle and co-actor Chiranjeevi’s brother Pawan Kalyan was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and he is under treatment. Meanwhile, the antagonist of Acharya, Sonu Sood, has also reported positive for contracting the virus while he was filming the movie.
The major portion of the Siva Koratala directorial has been shot and only 10-12 days of shoot is remaining. However, Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi have decided to halt the filming, for now, to protect the rest of the cast and crew from infection.
