Ever since Rakesh Roshan confirmed that Krrish 4 is officially happening, fans have been eagerly awaiting every update. The excitement only grew when it was revealed that Hrithik Roshan himself would be directing the film. Now, Rakesh Roshan has shared a fresh update that will leave fans even more thrilled.
Speaking on his 76th birthday, the veteran filmmaker revealed that while scripting did not take much time, the real challenge was finalising the budget. “Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film,” he said.
Roshan added that work on Krrish 4 is progressing in full swing and that the team aims to begin filming by mid-2026. The delay is due to the extensive pre-production process, which requires meticulous preparation before the project goes on the floors.
When asked if the shoot would continue until the end of 2026, Roshan confirmed it. On the film’s release timeline, he clarified, “We plan to release it in 2027.”
Earlier, in an interaction with ANI, Roshan had hinted that the next instalment of the Krrish franchise was nearly ready, promising that an official announcement would arrive soon. Now, with timelines set, fans can finally look forward to the superhero saga returning to the big screen.
