Rajniesh Duggal to play Physics Wallah teacher Pankaj Sijairya in upcoming biopic

Rajniesh Duggal is set to portray Physics Wallah educator Pankaj Sijairya in an upcoming biographical film. The project will explore the real-life journey of the organic chemistry teacher and the influence he has had on his students.

The film is being developed by James A., one of Pankaj’s students. James has written the story and will also direct the project, giving the biopic the perspective of someone who has personally experienced the teacher’s approach to education.

News of Rajniesh’s association with the film emerged during an Instagram Live interaction between the actor and Pankaj. During their conversation, Rajniesh revealed that one of Pankaj’s students had written a film about him and approached the actor to play the lead role.

Pankaj teaches organic chemistry at Physics Wallah, the education platform founded by Alakh Pandey. He has developed a following among students through a teaching style that combines academic concepts with humour, relatable examples and shayari.

The biopic is expected to focus on Pankaj’s personal and professional journey as an educator. With the screenplay written by one of his students, the story will be shaped by a direct understanding of his teaching methods and his relationship with learners.

Rajniesh will have the responsibility of portraying a living educator whose personality and classroom style are already familiar to a large number of students. The role gives the actor an opportunity to step into a real-life character and represent the experiences behind Pankaj’s career.

The film is currently in development. Its official title, complete cast, production schedule and release date have yet to be announced.
