Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for years and his fans have been eagerly waiting for his next, Pathan. While the actor will be making a comeback with the keenly anticipated thriller, he has a number of projects pending completion which will be released one after another. One of them is the much-awaited collaboration with renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and the movie went on the floors in Mumbai recently.
The yet-to-be-titled film featuring Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist began shooting at Film City on Friday, April 15, after years of discussions between the actor and the director. As per the reports, their first collaboration will be for a social comedy revolving around immigration and features Taapsee Pannu as the female lead. The filming began with Taapsee’s scenes lined up and Shah Rukh Khan joined the team later in the day.
While the rest of the details about the project is currently behind curtains, the movie is expected to add to the most successful movies of the actor in the decade. Meanwhile, SRK will be sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the Siddharth Anand directorial Pathan which is slated for a release on Republic Day next year.
