The magnum opus multi-lingual Indian film 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the pivotal roles was released in the month of November last year in India. It was considered to be the most expensive movie of the Indian film industry until then with a whopping budget of 570 crore INR.

The action movie was a commercial success but received mixed reviews from the critics in India. Lyca Productions, which produced the movie, earlier announced that 2.0 will have a mega release in China.

Recently, a poster has been released with the title of 2.0: Resurgence for the Chinese film industry. Reportedly, Rajinikanth starrer will be the biggest IMAX 3D release for a foreign film in China with an expected 56,000 screens.

The S. Shankar directorial science-fiction will hit the Chinese theatres on 12th of July starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Ami Jackson in the prominent characters.
