Filmmaker Rajamauli is known for his vision and movies made on the biggest canvas. While the director has been in the news for his next highly-anticipated movie, RRR, the movie has been getting delayed due to the pandemic. The movie featuring Ram Charan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr. is scheduled for a theatrical release in October but the trade experts suggest that the movie will get pushed further.
RRR is a high-budgeted movie and has been in production for a very long time. The teasers and character introductions supported the hype even further and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the movie in theatres. However, given the current pandemic scenario and restrictions in many profitable states, the makers might push the theatrical release further. Recently, Akshay Kumar starrer BellBottom was released in the theatres but despite the hype, the box office collection was lower than expected.
Meanwhile, the makers are also being offered lucrative deals from OTT giants to skip the theatrical release for digital streaming. However, Rajamauli wants the fans to experience the grand movie on the big screens and is adamant about releasing it on the big screens. Taking both into consideration, film and trade experts are suggesting that the makers will be pushing the movie further as releasing it in uncertain times will heavily affect the business.
Helmed by S. S. Rajamauli, RRR features Ram Charan and Junior NTR alongside Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in the key roles. The epic reincarnation drama also marks the debut of Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in Telugu-language movies.
