Businessman Raj Kundra became a household name for all the wrong reasons recently after he was alleged in a pornography racket. The businessman and his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, faced a huge backlash for the alleged involvement of former in the production and circulating of adult videos. Recently, actress Sherlyn Chopra made a public statement against Raj and the couple has retaliated with a defamation suit.

Earlier this week, Sherlyn Chopra made an allegation against Raj Kundra following an FIR against the businessman on grounds of fraud and mental harassment. Reacting to the same, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have slapped a defamation suit of Rs. 50 Crore against the actress along with an option to retract her statements on Raj Kundra and apologize in two days.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s lawyer, Prashant Patil, has sent the defamation suit notice to Sherlyn Chopra for her alleged remarks against the businessman and seeks a public apology. According to the notice, the allegations made by Sherlyn Chopra in the recent press conference were based on an ulterior motive to extort money from the couple. The actress had earlier alleged that she withdraw her case after receiving threats from Raj Kundra.
