Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy recently suffered a brain stroke during the shooting of his upcoming film, LAC: Live The Battle, in Kargil last month and was rushed to Nanavati Hospital. After spending around three weeks in the hospital, the actor is undergoing physiotherapy sessions to recover from motor aphasia. Recently, the actor took to his social media handle to thank his fans for their love as he prepared himself for angiography of brain and heart.

In the shared 67-second long video, Rahul Roy and his sister Pia addressed his fans and updated on his health. While the actor found it difficult to explain himself due to the post-stroke speech disorder, his sister helped him complete the sentence and explained, “What he means is that please pray for my brother. We are going for angiography of the brain and heart today. It will be all good. Keep your blessings and prayer with my brother and thank you everyone for loving us so much and giving your support. It is so nice to see how much you all love my brother and are constantly praying for his recovery.”

Rahul Roy was discharged from the Nanavati Hospital on December 8 and is currently admitted to Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai. Earlier, the hospital has released a statement informing about the current condition of the actor. “Mr Roy is undergoing expert speech therapy and physiotherapy along with aggressive medical management, including blood thinners. This will go on for 21 days from onset,” read the official statement.
