Television actress Radhika Madan has her name in the film industry as well with the comedy-drama Pataakha alongside Sanya Malhotra and the action-comedy Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota opposite Abhimanyu Dassani. While her performances in the previous movies have been applauded, the actress is gearing up for her third Bollywood movie.
Radhika Madan will soon share screen space with Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the Dinesh Vijan’s production venture, Angrezi Medium. While the actress is excited about her third movie, she opened up on nepotism in the industry and shared some insights on how she bagged a big role.
In a chat with the entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Radhika said that she has missed on big projects because of a starkid, although she didn’t reveal the name of any. In another incident she shared over the chat, the actress revealed that she was approached for a project but the producer replaced her with a starkid. Radhika insisted the producer to just take her audition even if they have locked in someone else. “I said you take my audition. Just take my audition I’m not asking for anything else. He agreed, I gave the audition and I got the role,” she said.
However, she never revealed the name of the project or the producer but the earlier buzz suggested that Sara Ali Khan was to be featured in Angrezi Medium helmed by Homi Adajania.
