If you think the title of the movie suggests that its yet another promoter of  how Men are the strongest beings on the face of earth as they feel no pain?, then you are highly mistaken.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP and directed by Vasan Bala, ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ is a quirky tale of a young boy played by debutante Abhimanyu Dassani  who is numb to any kind of physical pain.

Stab him a knife, break a bottle on his head, he would feel nothing at all.  Since he is not affected by any of it, he is set on a mission to vanquish hundred foes and kick out all the chain snatchers out of his city without getting harmed or feel any pain even if they retaliate.

Abhimanyu who marks his debut with this film,  is the son of ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ star Bhagyashree. Supporting him in this witty action comedy is television actor and Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Pathaka’ star Radhika Madan, who plays his partner in crime and childhood friend. Shweta Prasad and Mahesh Manjrekar can also be seen in the trailer.

It’s great to see movie makers coming with different and unique style of narratives and film making. The film has been receiving great response at the International film festivals for its dark comedy, uniqueness and performances.

It was due for an October release last year, but now will be out on 21st March 2019 clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari’. The quirkiness of the trailer is sure to leave you in splits.
