Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has delivered massive numbers at the box office, raking in ₹394 crore worldwide within just two days. This includes ₹296 crore from India and USD 11.6 million (₹98 crore) from international markets. The film is poised to cross the ₹700 crore mark globally by the end of its extended four-day weekend.
On Friday, the film earned USD 3.9 million (₹33 crore) internationally, bringing its two-day overseas total to USD 11.6 million (₹98 crore). Despite the impressive figures, the Telugu version has underperformed in key markets like North America, where it trailed 40% behind Kalki 2898 AD in the U.S.
Interestingly, the Hindi version is leading overseas collections, contributing nearly USD 2 million—over half of the Friday total. This shift is unusual for a Telugu film, where Hindi collections typically pick up after the weekend. The trend indicates the Hindi version could sustain momentum beyond the usual frontloaded trajectory of Tollywood films.
Overseas Collections by Region
- United States: USD 5.3 million
- Middle East: USD 2.7 million
- United Kingdom: USD 950,000
- Australia: USD 750,000

With international markets constrained by limited capacity for the Hindi version, there’s potential for sustained growth as more screens are added. Combined with its strong domestic performance, Pushpa 2: The Rule is on track to dominate the box office and cement its place as a global blockbuster.
