The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has been in the news for many reasons lately. While the international celebrity is in the UK ahead of his grandfather’s funeral, he became a global topic of discussion ever since the interview of him and Meghan Markle with Oprah aired. However, Prince Harry became a part of an unusual discussion at Punjab and Haryana High Court when a lawyer claimed that Prince Harry promised to marry her.
The lawyer from Punjab filed a petition to arrest the Duke of Sussex on her claim that he promised to marry her but didn’t. The lawyer claimed that she communicated with Prince Harry and his father on social media networks as well as exchanged emails. Her plea to issue an arrest warrant against Prince Harry was rejected by Justice Arvind Singh who called it a ‘daydreamer’s fantasy’.
“I find that this petition is nothing, but just a daydreamer’s fantasy about marrying Prince Harry,” said Justice Sangwan as he explained that the petition lacked ground. “There is every possibility that the so-called Prince Harry may be sitting in a cyber cafe of a village in Punjab, looking for greener pastures for himself,” he added.
