One of the finest Bollywood and Hollywood actor, Irrfan Khan, deceased last Wednesday leaving the entire film industry in shock. The actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in the year 2018 and succumbed to a colon infection in a Mumbai hospital. While one and all mourned the demise of one of the greatest actors that the country has produced, filmmaker Dinesh Vijan extended his support to his family.
Irrfan Khan and Dinesh Vijan collaborated for two successful projects, Hindi Medium and Angrezi Medium, and the two shared a great bond. While both the movies brought in profits, the producer is looking forward to setting a fund for Irrfan Khan’s family. As per a report, Dinesh Vijan said that Irrfan Khan never made the kind of money he deserved with his talent and most of his savings were used in the extensive treatment.
According to the source, the producer also mentioned that he persistently persuaded him to do Angrezi Medium while he hadn’t recovered from his illness and therefore, feels a need to give his family financial security. Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan starrer Angrezi Medium marked his last cinematic appearance and the movie has been sold for a whopping amount and is extensively promoted on an OTT platform.
