Actor Sonu Sood thanks Priyanka Chopra for supporting his appeal to the Government for providing free education to the children of those parents who have lost their lives to Covid, even as many fans pitched him for next Prime Minister of India.

Marked with a folded handed emoticon, Sood’s tweet said “Thanks a ton Priyanka for your support. I promise we will make this happen.” Two days prior to Sonu’s message, Priyanka had tweeted backing the actor’s appeal and also hailed him as a ‘visionary philanthropist.’ She questioned “Have you heard of visionary philanthropists? My colleague @sonu_sood is one such.”

Chopra believes that Sonu Sood thinks and plans ahead. She agreed with his appeal and stressed to think about this issue carefully because the impact she believes, is long-term and it involves children and that is exactly what makes it amongst the many horror stories of the pandemic. She informs her followers that this appeal is regarding those children who have lost one or both parents due to Covid-19. She thinks that this major life disturbance leads to an absolute stop in the education of these many children because of the combination of loss and economic factors.

She feels highly inspired that the actor made such an evaluative observation and also came up with a solution in the typical Sonu style, along with some suggestions for action. Sonu’s suggestion goes out to both the state and central governments at power and he demands to ensure free education for all these children who are emotionally and mentally affected by Covid. The appeal is equal for children at any stage of studies whether in school, college, or pursuing higher studies. What is important to achieve is the aim, which is not to allow a pause in their education and definitely not for the lack of finance. Priyanka tells how Sood debates that if the request is ignored, this will lead to a huge number of children who would be ultimately left without the opportunity as adults.

Alternatively, Chopra requests the people of outside govt, and appeals to their compassion combined with generosity and be the philanthropists. She advises them to knock on institute doors or offer to help anyone who is capable to make an impact that will matter. She also advises feeling free to adapt to the education of a child if possible. She adds by saying that she supports Sonu’s ideas and promises to actively work towards finding other ways to support education since she has had always believed that education is a birthright of every child and as a society, we must not allow the virus to change that principle.

Meanwhile, fans felt empathetic and emotional as they continued to convey their star worship for Sonu and a user even commented “We need a prime minister like Sonu Sood.” Followers and Fans all over the country have immense respect for the actor and desire a Prime Minister such as him.

Let’s not forget to take into account how Sonu, recently arranged for a critically ill Covid patient to be airlifted from Jhansi to Hyderabad for treatment. Priyanka, on the other hand, has initiated a fundraiser that wants to raise at least one million dollars for Covid resourced supply in India.
