India is currently one of the worst COVID-19 affected countries and witnessing over 3 lakh new COVID-19 cases each day. While the country is struggling with medical resources, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has requested the president of the USA, Joe Biden, to share their vaccines with India.

Priyanka Chopra took to her social media handle to urge Joe Biden and other high-ranking officials of the United Nations to help India with the crisis. The actress tweeted, “My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines w/ India? #vaxlive.”

Earlier Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, spoke to Joe Biden and it was reported that India will be importing raw materials from America to manufacture more batches of vaccines in the country. India has been the largest manufacturer of Coronavirus vaccines but recently faced a shortage of adequate raw materials to fulfil the demand for Coronavirus vaccines.

After the Coronavirus condition turned critical in India, netizens have been actively using the power of social media to help those in need and spread awareness about those who can help. Many celebrities have been sharing contact details of critical patients who need immediate attention with their respective social media accounts. Priyanka has also been sharing information about requirements and renounces through her official handle.
