In another shocking news from the entertainment industry, veteran actor Prem Chopra and his wife Uma Chopra have been admitted to a hospital after the elderly couple tested positive for COVID-19. While every day, many celebrities are being diagnosed with COVID-19, the majority of them report their condition as stable, renowned Indian actor Prem Chopra and his wife were reportedly admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after testing positive for the disease.

As per the report by the daily Times of India, Prem Chopra and his wife have received monoclonal antibodies to battle the virus and the couple are reported to be responding well to the treatment. If reports are to be believed, the couple is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a few days if they continue to recuperate.

Earlier today, John Abraham, his wife Priya Runchal and renowned producer Ekta Kapoor have also come out as positive for COVID-19. However, the three of them are receiving their treatment at home and are mostly asymptomatic. Apart from them, many Bollywood celebrities including Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi, veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail, Arjun Kapoor, producer Rhea Kapoor and her filmmaker-husband Karan Boolani are tested positive for COVID-19.
