Indian actor Pratik Gandhi became a household name after the humongous success of SonyLIV web series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, and he has been offered a number of ambitious projects since then. Recently, the actor signed a lead role for Bhushan Kumar’s yet-to-be-titled movie and Khushali Kumar is to be paired with him.

Featuring for the first time together, Pratik and Khushali will be sharing the screen for a family drama that is to be shot in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. Both of them have already started their look tests and preparation for their roles in Mumbai. The story of the movie is said to be based on a common man and his dignified struggle to win what is his.

Talking about the film, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “The story of this film is simple yet very real. This is the film that millions of people of our country will resonate with. I am glad Shaailesh, Hansal Mehta and I are again collaborating on such an interesting subject.”

Bankrolled by T-Series & Karma Media and Entertainment production, the movie will be helmed by Bose: Dead or Alive director, Pulkit. Featuring Pratik Gandhi and Khushali Kumar, the movie will go on the floors on 18th August 2021.
