Pratik Gandhi has taken a step into Bollywood after becoming a pan-India sensation overnight when he portrayed himself as Harshad Mehta in the popular series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. Being in the limelight, yet Gandhi clearly does not believe in competition among the actors.

Pratik thinks we are all human beings and not products that would be in a competition and adds that since all actors are individuals, look different and have different personalities and absolutely different ways of acting, they cannot be compared. The actor says that he never allows it to take a toll on him and also the idea that the next projects he takes up should be bigger than the previous one.

The Gujarati actor debuted on stage and performed a monologue in three languages in the play, Mohan No Madala. His name was added in Limca Book Of Records. As far as the success of Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story is concerned, it has been very progressive for his career and led to many opportunities. He tells that it was quite exciting to have chances to work on different subjects and he looks forward to playing different characters each time.

Pratik also insists fame and success are peripheral byproducts. He seems content and happy to receive love from the audience, across all age groups.

Pratik has earlier performed in the Hindi film Loveyatri, but he seconds that Hansal Mehta’s OTT web series was a game-changer for him both personally and professionally.

He reveals that he has been waiting to receive all the love and appreciation for over 16 years now and it’s is quite an overwhelming feeling for him.
