The multi-crore actioner Saaho, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads, has been one of the most hyped movies of 2019 and fans couldn’t wait to experience it in the theatres. While the makers announced its release on the Independence Day a while ago, the recent buzz is that the action thriller has been postponed by 15 days.

According to the latest speculations, makers are planning to postpone the release of the movie by two weeks since the post-production demands more time. Although there has been no official announcement to support the claims, other Telugu filmmakers have moved their movies to the Independence Day slot which includes Ranarangam and Evaru. The sudden development in the Telugu film industry suggests that the rumours have some weight.

If this happens to be true, Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House will be pitted against each other to dominate the box office with Saaho out of the picture. On the other hand, it will be commercially beneficial for the makers of Saaho to have a separate release.

So it’s a win-win situation for everyone since no one willingly wants to clash with Prabhas starrer Saaho post the success of Bahubali series as Saaho is already touted to be the next big thing.
