It was earlier informed that Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama based on the backdrop of world war will bring together two superstars, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, in the same frame. The untitled adventure-drama was earlier reported to be getting on the floors in July but given the surge in new COVID-19 cases, the movie is reported to be pushed further.
According to a source close to the development of the mega-budgeted movie, the makers have decided to postpone the first leg of filming given the current pandemic crisis. The source informs that prior commitments of Prabhas and Deepika have got delayed due to the lockdown and precautionary measures and therefore, they are tight on the schedule. On the other hand, director Nag Ashwin is also struggling with pre-production in unprecedented times. The team reportedly has taken a mutual decision to postpone the filming till October.
Prabhas, who is currently busy in the production of Salaar and the mythological drama Adipurush, is likely to wrap up the filming of both the movie by October. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone will be completing the last leg of Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan by the end of June. She also has an action drama, Fighter, with Hrithik Roshan, The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan and magnum opus mythological drama Draupadi in her kitty.
