Pooja Hegde made her much-awaited debut in the Bollywood industry opposite the ‘Greek God’ of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan. However, their movie, Mohenjo Daro, failed to sail at the box office but the setback didn’t stop the actress to make her name in the Indian entertainment industry.
Post featuring in many hit movies in the southern part of India, Pooja made a comeback in Bollywood with superhit Housefull 4 and her recent outing with Allu Arjun, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, turned out to be a blockbuster as well. With a number of successful movies in her kitty, Pooja Hegde decided to hike her price for the Salman Khan starrer and it is four-time what she charged for the comedy-drama, Housefull 4.
As per a source close to the development of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which stars Salman Khan in the key role, Pooja Hegde has been locked to play Salman’s love interest in the movie and the producers agreed to pay a hefty amount to the 29-year-old actress. Since the Indian entertainment industry places its best bets on the success-driven artists, the makers of the Salman Khan starrer decided to agree to the quadrupled hike of Pooja Hegde’s price.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, is currently busy with his next actioner, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which co-stars Disha Patani. The superstar will soon start working on Farhad Samji directorial Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which also stars Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz in a prominent character while Pooja Hegde will be playing the leading lady.
