According to Rohan Malhotra, the Vice President of Distribution at YRF, advance booking for Pathaan will begin on January 20 in India for the standard 2D version in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, as well as premium formats such as IMAX, 4DX, D BOX, and ICE versions in Hindi.
Rohan Malhotra further states that YRF is excited about the anticipation surrounding the film and is confident that it will be well-received, similar to previous films in the YRF Spy Universe franchise such as Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War. To ensure that the audiences can book their tickets well in advance, YRF has requested its cinema partners to open the advance bookings five days before the film’s release, which is on an extended holiday weekend.
