Television actor Parth Samthaan, who was recently tested positive for COVID-19, has been recuperating well and tested negative for the virus a few days ago. While the actor is currently following precautionary norms and was under self-quarantine post his recovery, the reports suggest that he might resume shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Parth Samthaan had resumed shooting for the popular daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay after the government announce some relaxations in the nationwide lockdown. However, a week later the actor showed flu-like symptoms and underwent a Coronavirus test which came out to be positive. As a precautionary measure, the shooting for the show was called off and other lead actors went through the testing as well as self-isolation for weeks.

Recently, Samthaan shared the good news with his fans that he tested negative for COVID-19 in consecutive tests and following a self-quarantine as a precautionary measure. Now, a source has informed that the actor is currently in Pune with his family and might resume shooting for the show in the upcoming week. While there has been no confirmation from Samthaan or Ekta Kapoor, the shooting is likely to take place in Mumbai next week.

Meanwhile, when a Twitterati questioned Parth Samthaan on his self-isolation as he shared a picture with her mother, he gave the user a befitting reply. “Dear @Suhasi. Yes I have tested negative and I was home quarantined for 17 days which technically is more than 14 .. and last night I had a panic attack so were you willing to take me to the doc?? And now m on my to Pune to spend some much needed time with my family ..(sic),” the actor wrote on his Twitter handle confirming that he is fit to resume shoots.
