Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 created a lot of buzz before its launch and turned out to be a successful reboot of the iconic daily soap of the same title. The Ekta Kapoor’s dream project featured Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandez as the lead pair but the show went off air after a successful run of two years. The reason for the abrupt ending was reported to be no apt replacement for the lead actor who left the show.

After Parth Samthaan left the daily soap unannounced, several speculations surfaced online as to why the actor quit the successful show. While some fans accused creative director and producer, Vikas Gupta, of conspiracy theories, others spread the rumours that Parth signed a Bollywood movie. However, after months of his exit, Parth Samthaan has come forward to open up the reason for quitting the Ekta Kapoor’s show.

In a recent interaction with Abhishek Khan, Parth Samthaan said that he cannot stick to one role for a long period of time. Parth had promised his family to act in the Ekta Kapoor’s show co-starring Erica Fernandez for two years and, as per him, he didn’t find any other reason to continue the show after his committed time.

“As it was near to two years, it was my decision to fall out of it because I am an actor who reaches a saturation point very easily. I cannot be an actor who does the same sort of character for the next four to five years, even if it is going good or the show is number one,” he said.
