American actor Will Smith has been one of the biggest artists across the globe and he had always been the crowd favourite for his humility. However, the recent years have been tough for the superstar following a bad patch in his marriage and his actions at the recently held Academy Awards have put him on the top of the cancel culture list.

If you have been away from the internet for a while, Will Smith shocked every entertainment enthusiast after he walked up to the stage at the Oscars and slapped presenter Chris Rock for making a role on his wife’s medical condition. The slap was heavily criticised by other celebrities, the academy and even the fans of Will Smith. Following the unfortunate incident, Will issued a public apology to the Madagascar actor, however, the apology didn’t help him much with the cancel culture.

As per sources close to the actor, Will Smith is worried about being “fully cancelled” for his recent actions and he cannot do anything except waiting. Earlier, Netflix had pulled the plug from his upcoming thriller film, Fast & Loose, which was announced last year. Following Netflix, another streaming giant and production house, Sony, also hit a pause on the highly-anticipated fourth instalment to the famous Bad Boys franchise featuring Will in the key role.

The latest in the row, Paramount has reportedly stepped out of Will Smith backed movie adaptation of Bounce, based on the YA book by Megan Shull. Reality TV star JoJo Siwa has also walked out of the project. However, some reports also suggest that the decision was made before the slapping incident happened. Meanwhile, Will’s other projects, which were supposed to be in the works, have been suspended.
