Pankaj Tripathi made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his critically acclaimed performances and enjoys an enormous fan following. While the actor has a line-up of upcoming movies in his pipeline, he walked out of the Kangana Ranaut starrer sports-drama earlier and sparked many speculations. Now that the movie is awaiting its release, the reason for his exit from the project has been revealed and it is not what we had expected.
As per the report, the director of the movie, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, had an important character planned for the Luka Chuppi actor and after narrating the same to the actor, he gave his nod to the project. However, before the movie could go on the floors, Pankaj Tripathi walked out of the movie. Earlier, reports suggested that Pankaj had a creative conflict with the filmmaker but the latest reports suggest that he made an exit owing to his prior work commitments and busy schedule.
Pankaj Tripathi, who was last seen in the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Drive, has a line-up of upcoming movies which includes Ludo, Kagaz, Mirzapur 2, Mimi, ’83 and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. As he couldn’t arrange his dates for the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial, he had to walk out of it.
Talking about Panga, the movie stars Kangana Ranaut as the central character which Jassie Gill, Richa Chaddha and Neena Gupta in prominent characters. Helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the sports-drama is slated to release on 24th of January.
