After much speculations, Sara Ali Khan made her debut in the Bollywood industry opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the romantic-drama, Kedarnath. Although the movie had its share of controversies, it was well-received at the box office and Sara Ali Khan received critical acclaim for her performance in the tear shedding tragic love story of Mansoor Khan and Mandakani Mishra.

Released on the 7th of December 2018, the movie completes one year today and the leading lady, Sara Ali Khan, took to her social media network to express her feelings towards her debut movie. Sharing her picture with the clapper of Kedarnath along with other BTS photos, Sara Ali Khan wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been a year since everyone met Mukku for the first time. Kedarnath has been and will always remain an integral part of me. ?Thank you @gattukapoor and @kanika.d for making me meet, imbibe and portray Mukku ?? @sushantsinghrajput I truly appreciate all that you did to support me and help me consistently throughout this journey, I couldn’t have asked for a better Pithoo to carry me through all of this!”

The actress also thanked her fans and the audiences of the movie who made it a memorable experience for her. Post the successful debut in the industry, Sara Ali Khan continued to woo her fans in the Ranveer Singh starrer cop-drama Simmba. She will also be seen sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal and in David Dhawan’s reboot of Coolie No 1.
