Director Siddharth Anand, known for Pathaan and Fighter, has finally unveiled the much-awaited first look of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King. The superstar, who ruled 2025 with three consecutive blockbusters, has been away from cinemas for nearly two years, making this reveal even more special for fans.
On November 2, coinciding with Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday, the makers dropped a thrilling title reveal video, giving audiences their first glimpse of King. Sharing the video on social media, Siddharth Anand wrote, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam – #KING #KingTitleReveal It’s Showtime! In Cinemas 2026.”
The teaser features Shah Rukh in an intense, action-driven avatar, showcasing high-octane sequences that end with his powerful dialogue: “Hazar jurm, sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam… King.”

King marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second collaboration with Siddharth Anand after the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan, which earned over ₹1,050 crore globally and re-established the superstar’s dominance at the box office. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Marflix Pictures, the film is set to release in mid-2026.
The ensemble cast features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, Jackie Shroff, and Anil Kapoor. The film will mark Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut and Shah Rukh’s sixth on-screen collaboration with Deepika Padukone, who is reportedly playing Suhana’s mother in the film.
