Indian actor Shahid Kapoor is again the talk of the town with the attention-grabbing first look of his upcoming movie O’ Romeo, and this time the transformation is hard to miss. Taking to Instagram, Shahid unveiled the first look poster of his much-anticipated drama as he reunites with Vishal Bhardwaj for another dark and gritty cinema.
In the first look poster, the actor can be seen sporting a completely new avatar, covered in tattoos, with a rough, intense appearance that immediately hints at a dark and dangerous character. The look feels raw, aggressive, and deeply rooted in the world of crime, suggesting that this film will explore the psychological and emotional cost of living on the edge. “Romeo O Romeo where art thou O’ROMEO ! Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’ Romeo marks his fourth collaboration with Shahid Kapoor after Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon. Each of those films pushed Shahid into challenging emotional and physical spaces, and this new project seems to be continuing that trend. Along with Shahid Kapoor leading with his intense new avatar, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda, Vikrant Massey, and Tamannaah Bhatia make the film a hard-to-miss.
With the first teaser releasing tomorrow, giving more context to the characters and the plot, the movie is scheduled for a release on February 13, 2026, and will be competing with the romantic dramas with its unconventional tone.
