Nushrratt Bharuccha’s upcoming social drama, Janhit Mein Jaari, went on the floors recently and in less than a week, the production hits a roadblock as crew members of the movie found themselves positive for the novel Coronavirus. The production was halted immediately for the safety of the rest of the cast and crew and everyone was isolated.
According to the report, four members actively present at the set of Janhit Mein Jaari was found COVID positive in a routine checkup and the makers decided to temporarily halt the production and analyse the situation. The makers sent the cast and crew back to their homes without any further delay to avoid the further spread of the deadly virus. The entire crew will undergo mandatory isolation of two weeks before they return to the film set.
The production is now scheduled to commence on 27 November with full swing once the crew passes the isolation test and the makers aim to wrap the filming by the second week of December. The production of the movie was earlier halted after the lead actor, Nushrratt Bharuccha, sprained her leg during the filming of a peppy song for the movie and the makers had to pause the production temporarily.
Helmed by debutant Jai Bantu Singh, Janhit Mein Jaari features Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead with Anud Dhaka, Annu Kapoor and Paritosh Tripathi in pivotal roles.
