Yesterday, it was reported that Aaliya Siddiqui, the wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, took legal action by filing a complaint against her husband after his family accused her of trespassing. Following the complaint, the Mumbai court has taken action and issued a notice to Siddiqui.

The details of the notice issued by the Mumbai court in response to Aaliya Siddiqui’s complaint against her husband Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family are yet to be disclosed. Aaliya and her lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui claim that she was subjected to cruelty and was not allowed to use basic necessities such as the bathroom or receive food during her stay in the house. The complaint filed by Aaliya includes charges under sections 509 and 498A, which pertain to insult to the modesty of a woman and punishment for cruelty by a husband or their relative.

In addition, Aaliya has used social media to share videos showcasing her being stranded in a hall after her children returned from Dubai, as well as a video of her conversation with a security guard who prevented her and her child from using the bathroom for a shower.

According to ETimes, Aaliya’s lawyer dismissed the trespassing complaint filed by Mehrunnisa Siddiqui, Nawaz’s mother, as “completely baseless.” The lawyer stated that he was basing his argument on Nawaz’s admission in writing that Aaliya is his lawfully wedded wife, as he has claimed everywhere. If this is true, then there can be no case of trespassing against Aaliya by her mother-in-law, as she has no right to challenge a wife entering her husband’s house.

The lawyer was quoted in the report as saying that Nawaz has been “cornered from both sides” and that “cases” that can be filed against him could include charges of “rape” or “domestic violence.” The lawyer also accused the actor of engaging in mental, physical, emotional, and financial abuse.
