It was earlier announced that Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma are working on one of the most touted action drama Guns Of North, which is an official Hindi remake of Marathi-language film Mulshi Pattern. While it was earlier informed that Salman Khan will be playing an extended cameo of 20 minutes in the gangster-cop drama, the latest report is a treat to the Bhaijaan fans.

While superstar Salman Khan was working on his schedule to resume shooting for his upcoming movies, the script of Guns Of North has been reworked with more screen time for Salman Khan. As per the reports, the script of the Hindi remake was rewritten keeping the clash between Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma more prominent and engaging which resulted in extended screen presence of the Race 3 actor. With the reworked script of the gangster drama, Salman Khan has a schedule of almost 55 days of the 90 days shooting.

The movie script was being worked upon since January 2019 and it was expected to go on the floors in April 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus scare, the project hit a backburner again and is expected to commence shooting once the situation normalizes. The story is said to be set up in Punjab featuring Aayush Sharma as a dreaded gangster while Salman Khan plays the cop. While Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma will be getting the most screentime, other cast and crew are kept under wraps for now.

Helmed by Abhiraj Minawala, Guns Of North will be released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Oriya. The gangster-cop drama is expected to hit the theatres next year.
