The first look of Ajay Devgn from the upcoming war drama, Bhuj: The Pride of India, was recently unveiled and it received a great response from the audiences. Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, the action drama will revolve around the life and struggles of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik portrayed by Ajay Devgn. While the first look of the movie was well-received by one and all, the movie has been grabbing headlines for its leading lady.

Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was supposed to play the prominent character of a spy in the war drama but later she opted out of the project owing to her prior work commitments and busy work schedule. Parineeti Chopra has a line-up of upcoming movies in her kitty which includes the Saina Nehwal biopic and the Hindi remake of the mystery drama, The Girl on the Train. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Nora Fatehi has been approached to replace the Kesari actress.

As per a source close to the development of the movie, Nora Fatehi has been attending workshops for her character in the war-drama and working on to perfect her body language to play a spy on screen. While there has been no official confirmation from either side, the report suggests that Nora will start shooting for the movie post 12 January.

Written and helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj: The Pride of India is slated to release on the occasion of Independence Day 2020. The movie also stars Rana Daggubati, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles.
