Choreographer turned director Remo D’Souza has found himself in legal trouble after a Ghaziabad court issued a non-bailable warrant against him in relation to the money fraud case. Allegedly, Remo D’Souza took money from a Ghaziabad resident and promised to return the double amount but hasn’t paid him yet.

The complainant, Satyendra Tyagi who is a resident of Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, alleged that the choreographer took 5 crore INR from him to finance a movie titled Amar Must Die and promised to double the investment after the movie release. However, Satyendra claimed that Remo hasn’t returned his investment back and turned to legal measure to get his money back.

Remo D’Souza who had a hearing in the Ghaziabad court failed to appear and therefore additional chief judicial magistrate Mahendra Rawat issued a non-bailable warrant against him. The warrant will be served to Remo in Mumbai after taking the due permission from Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone.
