Salman Khan has carved a unique niche and audience for himself and the actor has been seen portraying ‘Chulbul’ characters onscreen in dozens of his last releases. While the actor was last seen playing a fun-loving cop in the Prabhu Deva directorial, Dabangg 3, the makers of his next decided to keep his character serious and sullen.
It was earlier reported that Salman Khan will play an angry cop in his next, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, in order to differentiate his character from his last release which also featured him as a cop. While the cop in the unofficial remake of his 2009 actioner, Wanted, will carry an intimidating vibe around it, the makers and the actor are up for experiments for the actioner.
As per a source close to the development of the movie, the Prabhu Deva directorial will have no songs sung by the actor giving Amitabh Bachchan feels from his iconic movie, Zanjeer. The movie was earlier reported to have only three songs in the storyline while the fourth song is said to be a promotional track. The latest report suggests that Salman Khan will not sing or dance to peppy numbers in the plotline to keep his character real and raw.
Helmed by Prabhu Deva and bankrolled by Salman Khan Films, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will star Salman Khan in the titular character while Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda will play key roles in the actioner. The movie is slated to release on the 22nd of May but may get postponed amid the Coronavirus scare.
