Ajith is one of the most renowned Tamil film industry actors and the actor is currently shooting for his upcoming cop-drama, Valimai, which also marks a second collaboration between Ajith and director H Vinoth. While the first schedule of shooting is in the process at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, a report suggest that cellphones are banned on the sets of the actioner.

As per the report, makers of the movie have banned the use of cellphones by the supporting casts and technicians to prevent photo and video leaks from the sets. The makers want to keep the first look of the movie under veils until they officially release it. Bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, Valimai went on floors on 13 December with huge sets in Hyderabad for the first shooting schedule. There are also reports that Yami Gautam has been finalized to play the female lead opposite Thala Ajith, however, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same so far.
