No Bollywood list prepared by NCB, Government sources slam rumours in the Rhea’s drug case

While the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide case has taken an unexpected turn with the revelation of a drug angle, many leading news channels are running marathons to cover every tiny development. After the prime suspect, Rhea Chakraborty, was arrested by NCB earlier in relation to drugs, rumours came into play that the actress has named many Bollywood celebrities including Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Mukesh Chhabra in NCB interrogation.

Many leading news channels got inventive and accused the names mentioned in the alleged rumours of playing a part in the alleged suicide of Sushant. Meanwhile, a source close to the government has spoken to rubbish the rumours and said that no Bollywood celebrity has been named in the NCB interrogation of Rhea Chakraborty. The source also mentioned that NCB is forbidding from divulging names in an ongoing investigation.

Earlier, NCB deputy-director KPS Malhotra had quoted, “We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list earlier prepared was of peddlers and traffickers. It’s getting confused with Bollywood.” After the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty, NCB has arrested several others in relation to the drug case and raided many others. Meanwhile, Rhea, Showik, Miranda, Sawant, Vilatra and Parihar are in judicial custody after their bail applications were rejected by a court on Friday.
