The upcoming version of the classic Cinderella tale is making headlines lately for its lead cast and it was earlier informed that American-Cuban singer Camila Cabello will be essaying the character of the beautiful Cinderella, the latest report suggests that the actor to play Prince Robert on screen has been finalized.

As per the report, the makers of the upcoming fantasy drama were impressed with the audition of UK based actor, Nicholas Galitzine, and he has been signed to play the character of Prince Robert in the Camila Cabello starrer. Nicholas Galitzine, who made his acting debut with the movie, The Beat Beneath My Feet, is reportedly excited to play the part in the new take of the classic tale.

The film is being written and helmed by Kay Cannon while the romantic flick will be based on the idea by James Corden, who is also producing the movie alongside Leo Pearlman under the production banner of Fulwell 73. Sharing her excitement on playing the character, Camila Cabello earlier said, “I’m so excited about it. It’s going to be really cool … I’m super pumped about it. I mean I just want to be a Disney Princess so bad, more than I want anything.”

Starring Camila Cabello and Nicholas Galitzine in the lead roles with Idina Menzel and Billy Porter in prominent characters, the movie is expected to go on floors early next year and is aiming to hit the big screens in February 2021.
